GEAR UP

GEAR UP helps guide middle school and high school students through the early years of college preparation. The program makes sure students have access to the people and information needed to graduate from high school and go to college.

This program focuses on preparing 1,000 low-income seventh graders for college by providing:

• Intensive tutoring
• Mentoring
• College/career planning information throughout the middle and high school years
• Access to financial aid resources
• Summer Programs
• College Tours
• Summer Institutes
• Teacher Training
