Foster Care to College Mentoring Program
Region 3
The Youthnet program focuses on connecting current and former foster youth, ages 14-21, with mentors in Skagit, Whatcom, Island, San Juan, and Snohomish counties.
Activities Mentors Help With
- planning for high school diploma or GED requirements
- career planning
- filling out financial aid and scholarship forms
- registering for tests
- programs and courses
Each youth has the opportunity to meet monthly with a mentor for assistance with planning for education or vocational programs.
